UPDATE
So update time, Since the last event I’ve been lucky enough to spend a little bit of money on the car to make it go better instead of having to fix something,
So on a budget ive scored a set of subaru sti 440cc injectors, sard fuel pressure reg, A copy z32 AFM but is ment to the better of the copys, And I sent my ecu to Andy at Xtune he chipped it and loaded a tune on from another car with the same mods, Im planing on running it up on the dyno in the next couple of weeks but for now this tune is probably better than it has been.
The first round of D1NZ is on this weekend at Manfield Motorsport Park in Fielding that’s an 2 hour trip from here, So im looking forward to driving this up there on a couple of day trips, I cant wait to do some kilometers in it, The Warrent of Fitness is due this week and I noticed that its only done 540 km since the last one and most of that would have been on the track,
And a little something I made when washing the car.
WORK BENCH
When I first started working as an apprentice mechanic my boss asked me to build him a work bench and I quote build me a bench I can bounce engines off of, This is how I did it but the size was a bit different and we got sheet metal bent up for the top but the structure was the same and yes he could bounce engines off it, So when I needed to build one for myself there was only one way to do it, All I need to do now is cut some plywood and screw it to the wall at the back and bolt my vise on the end
NEW HOME
We moved in to our new house last weekend it’s all pretty exciting, The shed was a blank canvas except for the awesome shelving that the last owners left for me, So far I have painted the pink wall white so that looks a lot better now, I have also unpacked all my crap on to the shelving I think I will get some storage boxes for some of it that I will keep under the work bench which is next thing on my list of things to do.
If Slipway was in action these would be gone and that’s not all of them 100+
The clothes dryer and the Fridge will be gone this weekend
